In December 2005, AT&T was one of the first telecommunications companies in the United States to white-label and provide Echoworx encryption services to its subscribers.
Verizon Communications, a Dow 30 company which delivers broadband and other communication to wireline and wireless customers, launched encrypted email products in December 2005.
British Telecom is a leading provider of communications solutions and services operating in 170 countries. British Telecom launched BT Secure Mail and Encrypted Message Exchange (BT EMX) based on public key infrastructure (PKI) in October 2007.
MessageLabs, a provider of integrated messaging and web security services, launched Echoworx policy based encryption and was later acquired by Symantec in October 2008.
Apptix is an application service provider (ASP) technology company providing hosted business services (or software as a service)) for small and medium-sized businesses. It provided Apptix Secure Mail powered by Echoworx as part of its Hosted Email Security Services portfolio. It launched the service in April 2010.

- OneWorld - A policy-based email encryption solution designed to work with multiple platforms. OneWorld supports PGP, S/MIME and TLS, in addition to encrypted PDF attachments and a secure web portal. OneWorld Encryption with Office 365 Outlook on the web integration provides additional functionality that enables users to select encryption method.
